All Qualified candidates will be responded to in 24 hours or less Onsite in Tewksbury Ma Employment type: Full Time w-2 or Contract Rate: open to Negotiation Benefits: including Health, Dental Vision, PTO, Holiday etc... Interim or active DOD secret clearance a must. System Safety Engineer, your responsibilities will include: • Developing and implementing one or more MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs • Performing MIL-STD-882 System Safety Program tasks and analyses, involving management, analysis, evaluation, and verification.

• Working across all integrated product teams and lines to properly eliminate hazards or provide effective controls. • Coordinating with customer safety representatives applying methods, standards, and techniques to provide clarification of system requirements to software, hardware, and test personnel to ensure design and architecture considerations are appropriately allocated to the system and horizontally integrated across the development teams. • Collaborating with Program Management and government approval authorities from program startup through production to demilitarization and disposal backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities will include: • An analysis of engineering hardware, mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics assessing fault tolerance, latent hazards, and safety requirements compliance.  • Work with system test and tactical operation and maintenance procedures to ensure the proper administrative system safety controls are in place.  • Design of concise, testable safety requirements or providing safety analysis of existing requirements • Performing System Safety Program or Design analyses  • Preparing Safety Assessment Reports and Safety Program Briefs for Customer Approval  • Briefing safety of the program at technical reviews and as part of the safety approval process  • Interpreting system requirements, customer specifications and military standards  • Preparing internal and customer reports describing various analyses relevant to the System Safety program  • Collaborating across multiple disciplines to gain a full understanding of product architecture and design  #CJ
