Job description

Full Stack Software Engineer (Angular Focus) - Contract (6 Months + Extension Potential)

Location: Draper, UT (Hybrid - Local Candidates Only)

Build meaningful technology while staying rooted in Utah. This opportunity is ideal for engineers who want to work on modern applications without sacrificing flexibility, lifestyle, or impact. You'll be joining a high-growth, product-driven organization within Utah's Silicon Slopes ecosystem, focused on delivering technology that reaches millions of users while continuing to innovate and evolve.

This team offers the unique combination of an established, stable platform alongside forward-thinking engineering initiatives. It's an environment where you can contribute to both maintaining high-quality existing systems and helping shape the future of the platform through modernization efforts.

In this role, you will work as a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong emphasis on front-end development using Angular. You'll contribute to the development and enhancement of internal applications, while also supporting strategic initiatives involving GraphQL integrations and the transition of legacy systems into more scalable, modern architectures.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining Angular front-end applications with clean, scalable architecture. You will integrate with GraphQL and RESTful APIs to support evolving business and product needs. You will also work with and interpret legacy .NET/C# services as part of ongoing modernization and migration efforts. Writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure reliability and performance is a key part of this role. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements, and collaborate closely with engineers and product partners in a Kanban-based workflow.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, along with at least five years of professional experience in software development. Strong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, GraphQL, and familiarity with C#/.NET is required.

Successful candidates will have a passion for full stack development and continuous learning. You should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential. A commitment to clean code, testing, and development best practices is expected, along with a proactive approach to aligning your work with team and company goals.

The work environment is hybrid, combining remote work with time onsite in Draper, Utah. The team is locally based and values collaboration, flexibility, and autonomy. The workspace is designed to support a variety of working styles, whether focused individual work or team collaboration.

This is a 6-month contract position with strong potential for extension. Candidates must be local to Utah only, as this is not a fully remote or relocation-supported opportunity.
