What is a Full Stack Developer IV?
The Full Stack Developer IV develops, integrates, and maintains full-stack applications and cloud infrastructure supporting SEF Energy IT operations, automation, and digital transformation. Independently delivers software solutions across front-end, back-end, database, and cloud layers, driving productivity and operational efficiency across the organization and its subsidiaries.
In this role, you will:
โ€ข Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications (React, Next.js, Python) supporting business operations and automation
โ€ข Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS including VMs, networking, containers, and deployment pipelines
โ€ข Develop and integrate APIs and middleware connecting internal systems (ERP, email, calendar) with custom applications
โ€ข Implement and maintain MQTT broker, real-time data pipelines, and IoT Integrations for operational monitoring
โ€ข Design and manage databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) including schema design, optimization, and migrations
โ€ข Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring
โ€ข Develop workflow automation integrations (n8n, webhooks, schedule jobs) to streamline business processes
โ€ข Collaborate with IT team on security hardening, identity/access management, and infrastructure monitoring
โ€ข Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer for developed systems, APIs, and procedures
โ€ข Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across application and infrastructure layers including on-call support
โ€ข Occasional travel to company offices or data center facilities may be required, estimated less than 10% of time (must possess a valid driver's license and meet the company driver requirement to operate a company vehicle while traveling)

Required and Preferred Experience:
โ€ข 8+ years of progressive full-stack development experience with demonstrated proficiency across the front-end, back-end, database, and cloud infrastructure
โ€ข Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and SQL
โ€ข Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks and Node.js or similar backend runtime
โ€ข Working knowledge of Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
โ€ข Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
โ€ข Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently
โ€ข Effective communication
โ€ข Self-motivated with strong time management
โ€ข Use of MQTT, IoT protocols, or real-time data streaming
โ€ข Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
โ€ข Experience with Microsoft Graph API and Office 365 integrations
โ€ข Knowledge of workflow automation tools (n8n or similar)
โ€ข Oil and gas experience or industrial sector IT environments
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
โ€ข Office environment of an oil & gas manufacturing and servicing company
โ€ข Occasionally required to stand, sit, use hands to manipulate with fingers, handle, or feel, walk, reach with hands and arms
