Today we manufacture the industry's broadest range of standard and specialty DWV products, including cast iron and plastic pipe and fittings.

Data Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics team. In this business-facing role, you will leverage data, technology, and analytical methods to generate insights, improve processes, develop solutions, and support informed decision-making across the organization.

Working closely with business leaders and process owners, you will identify opportunities for improvement, gather requirements, analyze data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for internal and external stakeholders. Success in this role requires intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and meaningful way.

This position reports to the Data Analytics Manager and is based in our administrative office in Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Business Insights

  • Analyze large and complex datasets from internal and external sources to identify trends, opportunities, and solutions to business challenges.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Apply statistical and analytical techniques to evaluate business performance and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Transform data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Business Partnership & Collaboration

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, gather requirements, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Assist in defining business needs, solution requirements, and end-user acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and evaluate data-driven solutions.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships across departments to support organizational goals.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Apply critical thinking and sound judgment to analyze information, validate findings, and develop recommendations.
  • Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and performance.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Experience working with data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
