Job Summary:
Mindlance is a company seeking a Senior Enterprise Search Business & Data Analyst contractor. This role involves acting as the business lead supporting the Product Owner for Enterprise Search, managing requirements, data analysis, and stakeholder alignment to ensure accurate and governed enhancements.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the day‐to‐day business execution lead supporting the Product Owner.
• Drive functional clarity, scope definition, and prioritization decisions.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into precise, testable requirements.
• Proactively identify risks, data issues, and governance gaps before delivery.
• Own end‐to‐end requirements development for Enterprise Search enhancements.
• Create high‐quality JIRA epics, features, stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure backlog readiness and alignment with delivery and governance expectations.
• Maintain traceability from business requirement through implementation and testing.
• Perform senior‐level data analysis across Enterprise Search data sources.
• Identify data defects, lineage gaps, sourcing issues, and transformation risks.
• Lead or support data remediation efforts, including root‐cause analysis.
• Maintain working knowledge of Enterprise Search data model, hierarchies, and feeds.
• Define and execute functional testing, regression testing, and UAT.
• Validate data accuracy, aggregation logic, and business interpretation.
• Ensure releases meet data quality, governance, and audit standards.
• Produce or support test evidence required for SDLC approvals.
• Lead working sessions with Credit Risk, Finance, Data Office, and Technology teams.
• Serve as the primary business contact for Enterprise Search questions and clarifications.
• Communicate impacts, dependencies, and risks clearly and concisely.
• Create or review mockups and wireframes to support requirement clarity.
• Ensure UX reflects correct data semantics and business workflows.
• Partner with UX and engineering to avoid misinterpretation of data behavior.
• Ensure all work aligns to enterprise SDLC, data governance, and risk controls.
• Support auditability through documentation, lineage, and evidence generation.
• Enforce 'done means done' standards for requirements and testing.
