At Relative Dynamics we value knowledge as a process rather than knowledge as an answer. Founded in 2011 our goal is to define the new space era by continuously pushing the boundaries of engineering models services and technology development. Visit us at www.relativedynamicsinc.com.
Relative Dynamics is a subcontractor supporting Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) Ground Sustainment Services (LGSS) program at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). In this role, you will be employed by Relative Dynamics and assigned to work on projects in support of Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) Ground Sustainment Services (LGSS). We are seeking a high-caliber Network Engineer, Mid with a specialized Cyber Security focus. This position is 100% remote.
This role sits at the intersection of robust infrastructure management and aggressive security posture hardening in support of the LGSS program, which is responsible for the sustainment, maintenance, and improvements to the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) Common Ground System (CGS). The JPSS CGS implements command, control, and communications and data processing requirements for CGS-serviced missions. The ideal candidate is a technical diplomat capable of translating complex vulnerabilities into actionable remediation plans and presenting those solutions to high-level stakeholders. The JPSS is NOAA's next-generation operational Low Earth Orbiting (LEO) observation program that acquires and distributes global environmental data from multiple polar-orbiting satellites, including from NOAA's domestic and international partners, playing a critical role in NOAA's mission to understand and predict changes in weather, climate, oceans, coasts, and space environments.
What You'll Get to Do:
