Pay: $180,000.00 - $235,000.00 per year

Location

Hybrid schedule with a strong in-office culture; associates are expected to be in the office more often than not, especially early on, to support training, collaboration, and integration in one of the following offices: Salt Lake City, UT; Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or New York City, NY.

Candidates must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state where they will be based and must have prior litigation experience, including exposure to intellectual property matters.

Job Description

  • Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
  • Work on intellectual property disputes involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and technology-related matters
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development
  • Participate in client communications and manage case responsibilities with increasing autonomy

Qualifications

  • Active bar license in the applicable state
  • 2+ years of litigation experience
  • 1+ year of intellectual property law experience, preferably IP litigation
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
