Schedule 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM - when it is busy there are 10 hour days and some weekends - 40+ hours get OT.
Looking for someone with entertainment industry experience - construction is a major plus.
Someone willing to do multiple tasks, they deal with metal, plastic construction, and more so there is a variety of projects they do and looking for someone that is a wood carpenter that might bring something else to the table.
Shop carpenter who will do perm installation.
Full time scenery technician -
College education in entertainment field preferred [theatre, film, etc...]
Professional scenery shop/construction preferred. Please include on resume.
Scenery fabrication skills require some combination of the following; carpentry, metalworking, electronics, painting, rigging, plastics construction, sculpting.
Additional desirable skills; forklift operation, truck driving, thermoforming, CNC operation, printed graphics application, hardcoating.
Extremely demanding production schedules with long work weeks are common.
Entertainment industry references preferred.
