Job Description:


Tasks and Responsibilities: Rate up to $36/Hr

  • Understand the operation of and be able to troubleshoot and repair axis and spindle drives, both mechanically and electrically.
  • Be capable of trouble shooting and repairing of all machines in the following areas, but not limited to,
  • Bevel gear cutting machines, Grinders, Gear Grinders, Machining Centers, Heat Treat equipment, Turning Machines, Gear Hobbers, Gear Shapers, and all specialty machine areas.
  • Assist OEM representatives in the setup and alignment of new equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment per standard operating procedures.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by Management according to the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Skilled Trades Supplement.

Experience:

  • Journeyman - Applicants must have a journeyman card or have eight (8) years of documented experience in this trade.
