Job description

Reporting Relationship: This position will report to the Director of Accounting Operations.Purpose: The Accountant will enter contributions, disbursements, and journal entries into the accounting system and prepare monthly reconciliations and financial statements for the Tim Tebow Foundation and its related entities. They will also assist non-finance employees with accounting processes and procedures and help answer internal and external requests.Responsibilities:The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Preparing donation deposits, entering donations into the donor database, and reconciling donations between the donor database and the general ledger.Processing payments including entry into accounting and banking systems.Ensuring all required records are obtained and properly filed.Completing month-end account reconciliations and journal entries.Preparing monthly financial statements for management review.Preparing annual 1099s and donor letters for tax purposes.Pulling supporting data for annual audit and 990.Monitoring the shared finance inbox.Assisting staff with accounting procedures.Assisting with fixed asset and inventory tracking.Assisting with donor event reconciliations and estimated FMVs received.Seeking opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency of finance related processes and procedures.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, accounting preferredCritical thinker, organized, and detail orientedIntermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsDiscretion and confidentialityCPA certification preferredNetSuite experience preferredE04JI800c7r5409c36x #J-18808-Ljbffr
