What this job involves: As a Specialist, Engineering Services you'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our healthcare facility by leading and directing our maintenance team. You'll oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of all base building and critical system machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

In the absence of the Operations Manager, you'll step into their role, demonstrating leadership and technical expertise. This position is essential to JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional facility management services that support our clients' mission-critical operations. What your day-to-day will look like: Supervise and direct maintenance staff, monitoring performance and ensuring efficient completion of service requests with minimal disruption Implement and oversee the preventative maintenance program, scheduling tasks strategically and delegating to qualified team members Diagnose malfunctioning equipment, determine corrective actions, and facilitate root cause analysis to restore optimal operating conditions Provide hands-on training to maintenance staff on proper tool usage, safety procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and professional standards Oversee contracted maintenance work, ensuring timely performance, warranty fulfillment, and proper documentation Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment parts; prepare purchase order requests and identify reliable vendors Ensure compliance with departmental policies for hazardous material storage, usage, and disposal while maintaining a clean and safe workplace Recommend facilities repairs and improvements for annual budget inclusion and implement at least one annual cost-saving initiative related to energy or utility consumption Required Qualifications: High school diploma plus two years of trade/vocational schooling or apprenticeship in electrical, piping/plumbing, refrigeration, or HVAC 5 years of experience in healthcare facility/plant engineering maintenance Thorough understanding of Joint Commission and other regulatory survey requirements Multi-skilled expertise in a minimum of two craft areas (HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, mechanical systems, welding, electrical systems) Valid US Driver's License Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet and lift 60 lbs repeatedly Ability to detect emergency alarms (auditory and/or visual) Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office and email Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably Corrigo Understanding of Building Automation Systems (BMS) Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with excellent oral and written communication abilities For internal candidates: consistently receives "meets expectations" on IPMP performance reviews Physical capability to perform visual machinery and building inspections, frequently walk up and down stairs, get on hands and knees to access difficult areas Location: West Grove , PA Salary: $27 to $30 per hour Schedule: 7am to 4:30pm Mon - Friday / On Call for off hour emergencies This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
