Quality Control Analyst
Job title: Quality Control Analyst
Location: Smithfield, PA

Using advanced metals chemistry, you'll help tackle the world's biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life-saving technologies - by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.
The role:
As a Quality Control Analyst, you will help drive our goals by:
โ€ข Performing analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products to support quality standards.
โ€ข Preparing chemical reagents and standards and ensuring accurate sample preparation.
โ€ข Reviewing analytical results, identifying out-of-control conditions and escalating issues where required.
โ€ข Maintaining, calibrating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation.
โ€ข Supporting the introduction of new analytical methods and continuous improvement activities.
โ€ข Training colleagues on laboratory procedures while maintaining accurate quality documentation.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
โ€ข Knowledge of chemical analysis, quality systems and manufacturing processes.
โ€ข Familiarity with ICP and/or XRF analytical techniques is advantageous.
โ€ข Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills within a laboratory environment.
โ€ข Ability to maintain detailed records and communicate technical information clearly.
โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
