Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Workday Solution Architect to provide overall guidance and oversight for Workday projects and changes.

This person will review business requirements, assess the impact of requested changes, recommend the best solution approach, and ensure Workday changes are designed and implemented correctly.

The role will work closely with HR business teams, IT, technical teams, security teams, and implementation partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review business requirements for Workday projects and enhancements.
  • Understand the impact of new requests across Workday and related systems.
  • Recommend best practices and implementation approach.
  • Guide the business on how to use Workday effectively.
  • Oversee Workday configuration, security, reporting, integrations, and business process changes.
  • Work with technical and integration teams on data flows, APIs, and system connections.
  • Partner with security teams to make sure roles and access are properly designed.
  • Support project teams during design, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Help ensure Workday solutions are scalable, secure, and easy to support.
  • Provide governance and oversight for Workday updates and releases.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience with Workday HCM.
  • Good understanding of Workday business processes, configuration, security, reporting, and integrations.
  • Experience supporting Workday projects, enhancements, or implementations.
  • Ability to review requirements and recommend practical solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday best practices.
  • Experience working with HR, IT, security, and technical teams.
  • Good understanding of Workday security roles and access controls.
  • Knowledge of Workday integrations, APIs, EIBs, Studio, and Core Connectors.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a global HR technology environment.
  • Experience with Workday modules such as HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, and Reporting.
  • Experience working with enterprise architecture, InfoSec, compliance, and audit teams.
  • Experience with Workday release planning and governance.
  • Workday certification is a plus.
