Strategic Planning & Intelligence Analyst (Top Secret)

Overview

Strategic Technology Institute (STi) is seeking experienced Strategic Planning and Intelligence Analysts to support a proposal for Special Operations Command Africa (SOCAFRICA) at Kelley Barracks in Stuttgart, Germany.

Personnel will provide analytical and advisory support to Special Operations Forces (SOF) leadership by conducting research, strategic assessments, and operational analysis supporting regional security initiatives across the AFRICOM Area of Responsibility.

Team members will support a range of activities including strategic planning, environmental threat analysis, partner nation assessments, and operational campaign analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct strategic and operational analysis supporting SOF missions across Africa.

  • Perform environmental and strategic threat assessments to identify emerging risks.

  • Develop analytical reports, assessments, and briefing materials for senior leadership.

  • Support partner nation security cooperation and force development assessments.

  • Analyze operational and environmental data to support campaign planning and operational decision-making.

  • Assist with development of assessment frameworks, methodologies, and analytical products.

  • Support working groups, operational planning teams, and senior leader engagements.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Intelligence, Political Science, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience supporting DoD, Combatant Command, or Special Operations environments

  • Experience with strategic analysis, operational assessments, or intelligence analysis

  • Strong writing, research, and briefing skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting USSOCOM, AFRICOM, or Theater Special Operations Commands

  • Experience supporting security cooperation, counterterrorism, or irregular warfare missions

  • Familiarity with tools such as Palantir, TRESTLE, DRRS, JLLIS, or similar analytical systems

  • Graduate degree in national security or international affairs

Work Location

This position is 100% onsite at SOCAFRICA Headquarters, Stuttgart, Germany.

This role is contingent upon contract award.
