Job description

The French program at Harper caters to both traditional and returning students and offers fall and spring courses. Courses are offered during the day, in the evening and online.

The instructor will teach introductory and/or intermediate French-language courses. Instructors are currently needed for the Spring 2020 semester. Successful candidates teach in an interactive and engaging way with the focus being on student communication in French.

The Liberal Arts division provides transfer ready courses to students in the areas of English, humanities, language, linguistics, communication and philosophy.

Education Requirements: A Master's degree in French or a Master's in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in French.

Experience Requirements:  College teaching experience and travel / study in countries where French is spoken is preferred.
