Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct dental care and associated services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist.
  • Deliver compassionate and high-quality care to every patient.
  • Perform direct patient care tasks, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant and fluoride applications, and other related procedures.
  • Offer excellent customer service by identifying opportunities for Same Day Care.
  • Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices.
  • Evaluate patients' dental conditions and review their medical histories.
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations and organizational standards.
  • Guide patients and their families through the entire treatment process.
  • Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed.
  • Take x-rays and ensure they are saved in patient records when necessary.
  • Create memorable patient experiences by demonstrating compassion and understanding.
Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing.
  • CPR (BLS) certification from the ARC or AHA, including hands-on skill assessment (required upon hire).
