Job description

Adecco is assisting a local client to fill an Executive Administrative Assistant position in Frankfort, KY. This is a long-term, 1st shift opportunity.  This position requires a professional and positive attitude with a willingness to assist all staff in building. This job will require duties away from the desk, with different responsibilities each day, and routine tasks to maintain.

Our team is made up of people who are hard-working, energetic, and passionate about what they do!

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm (earlier on some days per client)

Pay: $20 an hr. and weekly pay

Responsibilities:

·       Oversees building entrance doors for arriving visitors using the security system

·       Greet visitors and direct to correct meeting location

·       Preparations for all scheduled hearings

o    Prepare hearing rooms with water and coffee at bench and counsel tables

o    Set up hallway barriers with “staff only” signs

o    Maintain lobby monitors for live viewing of hearing

o    Restock breakroom as needed for staff and visitors

·       Set up meeting rooms involving moving tables and chairs

·       Clerical work requiring knowledge and experience using MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook

·       Oversee supply room and order supplies as needed and distributed when delivered

·       Contact person for all building and grounds related requests and issues

o    Offices are too cold or too hot, water leaks, exterminator required, lightbulbs to be replaced, non-functioning restrooms, etc.

·       Miscellaneous job duties such as recycling documents, preparing meeting rooms, holiday decorations, etc.

Qualifications:

 

·       Excellent organizational skills required

·       Excellent communication skills

·       Acquires job skills and learns policies and procedures to complete routine tasks

·       Ability to read and comprehend routine instructions, short correspondence, and memos

·       Ability to give high priority to customer service

·       Ability to solve problems with a minimum of supervision

·       Basic office skills helpful including basic math, proper cash handling procedures

·       Must maintain a professional appearance and a Can-Do, positive attitude towards all guests and staff

·       Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

·       Must be people oriented and able to work independently or with others as needed

·       PC Skills and Knowledge

·       Ability to use basic office equipment including Fax, copier, printers

·       Must be able to easily and frequently change from one activity to another while operating a switchboard or computer keyboard

·       Must be able to lift up to 50lbs frequently
