For that reason, we offer higher compensation to Title Officers / Searchers and give them a full team to type their searches up and coordinate cross-departments with escrow teams. We want Title Officers / Searchers to do what they do best: solve title problems.

COTTONWOOD TITLE: WHO WE ARE
Established in 2000, Cottonwood Title is the largest independent title insurance company in Utah. We have approximately 120 employees distributed across nine offices in Utah. Our title department includes about 40 employees. Our customers include realtors, builders, lenders, commercial developers, and investors. We are known for our expertise, ability to handle the most difficult transactions, and the best-in-class customer experience we provide.

YOUR ROLE AS A TITLE OFFICER
As a Title Officer / Searcher at Cottonwood Title, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of real estate transactions, ranging from subdivisions to metes and bounds properties to commercial searches.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS TITLE OFFICER JOB
- Strong skills in conducting title searches, with experience in handling metes and bounds properties.
- An active title officer license in the State of Utah.
- At least two years of experience searching in the largest counties in Utah.

- Working collaboratively in a team setting.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently.
- Proficiency with Deed Plotter is a plus.
