Job description

Position Description: ANPC is a global supplier of precision approach guidance and area surveillance solutions aimed at improving the safety and capacity of civil and military aviation for customers on all seven continents. Our transponder-based solutions are designed to serve airfields where others cannot. We are a team of extraordinary professionals working together to perform an important mission to uniquely serve airports with terrain, obstacles and other challenges that no other business can provide.
Job Summary
The RF Engineer is the technical leader focused on tying OEM TLS, camera, radar and fusion software together into a marketable cUAS product.
Essential Job Functions
• Capture and translate the Voice of Customer (VoC) and Business Development input into formal product requirements, including concept of operations (ConOps) for a new surveillance solution.
• Lead the selection and integration of OEM radar, camera, TLS and fusion software to create a comprehensive Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (cUAS) surveillance solution.
• Configure and precisely calibrate primary radar systems to optimize and enhance target detection capabilities.
• Manage the critical technology transition from omni-directional transmission to advanced electrical beam steering.
• Lead the formal productization development effort for demonstrated system capabilities.
• Conduct rigorous product performance analysis and validation utilizing simulation tools
• Investigate the integration feasibility of the ANPC TLS and a Precision Approach Radar (PAR).
• Support and execute customer demonstrations at the local airport and various customer sites, including potential international travel.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as Electrica Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Systems or Computer Engineering.
• Master’s Degree preferred in any of the above, or Radar Systems, Signal Processing or Remote Sensing.
• 8+ years of experience as an RF Engineer
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
• Extensive experience with radar configuration, calibration, optimization and signal processing.
• Experience transitioning from omni-directional to electrical beam steering.
• Proven experience integrating and managing data from multiple sensors using sensor fusion software into a cohesive system.

• Experience gathering and translating high-level stakeholder needs into specific verifiable product requirements and ConOps documents.
• Proficiency in using simulation tools to model, analyze and predict system performance.
• Demonstratable experience in the selection, procurement, and integration of OEM components (radars, cameras, software packages) into a final product.
• Experience in supporting and executing customer demonstrations and field trials, which includes an understanding of deployment logistics and customer-facing communication.
• Experience working within the regulatory, compliance and acquisition environments of government or defense contracts is beneficial.
• Ability to travel domestic and internationally.
