Job description


Provide support to receiving, inventory control, and logistics. Receive all incoming materials, perform inventory audits, and provide logistics support. Directly work with facilities, receiving and logistics and distribution of supplies.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect returned merchandise
  • Fill daily implant orders
  • Track incoming and outgoing products
  • Provide inventory control reports as required
  • Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting)
  • Updating database with incoming and outgoing products
  • Loading and unloading daily deliveries
  • Delivery of sets/implants within local DFW area
  • Maintain safety while using equipment and tools
  • Dispose of obsolete inventory as directed
  • Follow all Quality and Regulatory guidance related to the department

Qualifications for Inventory Specialist:
  • 2 years + of experience in an inventory role, preferable in medical device, orthopedics, spine)
  • Able to use a computer and other office technology
  • Familiar with data entry systems
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently
  • Able to stand and bend for long periods of time in a warehouse environment
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Attention to detail and execution of tasks in a timely manner
  • High School Diploma, GED, some basic college experience preferred but not required
  • Current valid and good standing Texas Driver's License
  • Ability to work flexible hours from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday and weekends occasionally as needed
