Helix Mentorship Academy is a proud member of the LHSAA, is committed to fostering excellence both in the classroom and on the field. We believe athletics plays a vital role in developing teamwork, leadership, and character among our students.

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and energetic High School Girls Basketball Coach to lead our student-athletes to success. The ideal candidate will inspire players to reach their full potential while upholding the values of sportsmanship, discipline, and academic achievement.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and conduct effective practice sessions and game strategies.

  • Teach fundamental and advanced skills while emphasizing teamwork and respect.

  • Oversee athlete conditioning, safety, and performance development.

  • Maintain communication with parents, athletic directors, and school staff.

  • Support the academic progress and personal growth of all team members.

  • Ensure compliance with LHSAA regulations and school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous coaching or playing experience in basketball (high school or higher level preferred).

  • Knowledge of rules, strategies, and conditioning techniques.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.

  • Preferred: Teaching certification or a commitment to obtain certification.

  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
