About the Role
We’re seeking a Controller with deep experience in just‐in‐time manufacturing and government contract accounting. You’ll lead financial operations, ensure full FAR/CAS compliance, and manage milestone‐based government billing. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial accounting, reporting, and GAAP compliance
  • Manage governmental accounting processes: FAR/DFARS, CAS, milestone billing, allowable/unallowable cost treatment
  • Lead cost accounting, JIT inventory controls, WIP, job costing, and production cost analysis
  • Build and maintain indirect rates and cost‐allocation structures for government contracts
  • Direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned with operational goals
  • Serve as audit liaison for external auditors, DCAA/DCMA, and government agencies
  • Partner with operations and project teams to align financial processes with manufacturing workflows
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure documentation accuracy for government compliance

What You Bring

  • 8–10 years of Controller experience, including 5+ years in manufacturing
  • Hands‐on experience with government contracting, FAR/DFARS, CAS, milestone billing
  • Strong background in JIT manufacturing, inventory accounting, BOMs, WIP, and cost structures
  • Proven leadership and team development experience
  • Advanced analytical skills and ERP proficiency (SAP, Oracle preferred)
