Certified Line Technician Job Responsibilities
  • Perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services
  • Accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
  • Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications
  • Document work performed clearly and accurately
  • Communicate findings as needed with service advisors
  • Maintain efficiency while meeting quality and safety standards
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with shop policies
  • Participate in ongoing training and certification requirements

Certified Line Technician Qualifications
  • Automotive technician experience required
  • Current manufacturer or ASE certifications preferred
  • Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and technical repair skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug screen.
