Job description

Pay Rate: $17.05 - plus shift differentials for evenings & weekends

ย Full Time Days ย (every other weekend availability required)

Per Diem also available

GENERAL SCOPE: Work as a team member to provide hot, nutritious and eye-appealing meals for the residents. Duties include but are not limited to working with the Restaurant style dining program, nourishments, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and cafeteria, food preparation areas and any other duties needed.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to read, write, add, subtract, communicate and understand English language and follow directions.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Perform kitchen function in assigned area following established scheduled and methods
      • Serve food in a restaurant style setting
      • Put dishes through dishwasher, stack and sort clean dishes.
      • Deliver special food requests to residents.
      • Keep unit kitchen stocked.
        • General cleaning duties as assigned.
        • Prepare food according to NYS regulations.

          • All other duties as assigned

        EXPERIENCE: Prior food service experience preferred, but none required.
