We areย seekingย a skilled and detail-orientedย Jewelry Repairย Technicianย to join our team. The ideal candidate will haveย expertiseย in repairing, restoring, andย maintainingย fine jewelry, ensuring each piece meets ourย high standardsย of quality and craftsmanship. This role requires precision, a strong understanding of jewelry materials and techniques, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.ย 

What Youโ€™ll Do

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Inspect, assess, and repair all types of jewelry, including rings, necklaces, bracelets,ย andย earrings.ย 

  • Perform soldering, stone setting, resizing, polishing, cleaning, and restoration work on various metals and gemstones.ย 

  • Identifyย and diagnose jewelry defects or damage, recommendingย appropriate repairย solutions.ย 

  • Maintainย accurateย repair orders, documentation, and inventory of materials used.ย 

  • Collaborate with customers to understand repair needs, providing guidance and updates throughout the repair process.ย 

  • Ensure all repaired pieces meet quality standards and aesthetic expectations.ย 

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including proper care of tools and equipment.ย 

  • Stay updated on industry techniques, tools, and materials to continuously improve repair quality.ย 

  • May beย requiredย to work on production pieces based on the volume of repairsย 

Qualifications:ย 

  • Proven experience as a jeweler with a focus on jewelry repair (2โ€“5+ years preferred).ย 

  • Strong knowledge of metals (gold, silver, platinum), gemstones, and jewelry components.ย 

  • Skilledย in soldering, stone setting, resizing, polishing, and other repair techniques.ย 

  • Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination and precision.ย 

  • Ability to work efficiently whileย maintainingย high-quality standards.ย 

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.ย 

  • Familiarity with jewelry appraisal and evaluation is a plus.ย 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in jewelry making or repair is preferred.ย 

Working Conditions:ย 

  • Work primarily in a jewelry repair bench environment.ย 

  • May handle delicate tools, chemicals, and small components requiring precision.ย 

  • This is not aย customer-facingย positionย howeverย you must communicate and prioritize as though it is.ย
