Job description

Job Summary

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining inventory data for IDC. This role ensures precise tracking or merchandise, including fine jewelry, gemstones, watches, and accessories, within the company’s inventory management system. The position supports daily operations by verifying product details, pricing, SKU numbers, barcodes, and stock levels while maintaining strict attention to detail and confidentiality.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Accurately receive in inventory and assign inventory numbers in the POS system.
  • Assist with Special Order process.
  • Assist with Shipping and Receiving responsibilities.
  • Assist other Inventory Specialists and others on projects as needed.
  • Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • No prior experience needed. This is an entry level position and training will be provided.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data entry is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Working Conditions
  • May spend extended periods sitting or standing before a computer screen.
  • Occasionally, equipment may need to be lifted or moved.
  • May encounter highstress situations
