Team members join a customer-focused environment that emphasizes trust, craftsmanship, and personalized service.

Role Description The Jewelry Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role located in Chesapeake, VA. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the selection of fine jewelry, custom designs, and repair services. The associate will present products, explain features and warranties, handle sales transactions, and maintain accurate records. Daily responsibilities include maintaining clean and visually appealing displays, safeguarding merchandise, and supporting inventory and stock management. The associate will also assist with customer appointments, collaborate with the gemologist and designer as needed, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive store atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and explain product details clearly.
  • Demonstrated customer service, customer satisfaction, and customer experience skills, focused on creating a positive, inclusive environment for all customers.
  • Experience in retail sales, preferably in jewelry, luxury goods, or related customer-facing settings.
  • Ability to learn and describe jewelry materials, gemstones, and design options; interest in fine jewelry and craftsmanship.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and integrity in handling high-value merchandise and sensitive customer information.
  • Comfort working on-site, standing for extended periods, and supporting store operations, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in retail, sales, or jewelry is a plus.
