Summary:
Under the leadership of the AVP, the Manager, Communications is responsible for the coordination of all communications and public relations to achieve Jewel Charity's organizational objectives. This position will oversee all of the communication pieces and develop the annual communication plan to include innovative strategies, digital, print and new media to raise awareness and engage potential donors. This position works closely with volunteer President and Chairman on various committees.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree. Degree in communications, marketing, business, advertising or non-profit management.
• Three years minimum progressive communications, public relations, marketing, development, or non-profit experience managing processes.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Experience with social media management.
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management are crucial for this role.
• Ideal candidate will be organized with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously while still meeting deadlines.
• This is a collaborative position so candidate must be comfortable interfacing with volunteers and donors.
• A great candidate values collaboration, safety, respect, kindness and imagination.
