Job description

Overview
Allied Wire & Cable (AWC), a GCG Company, is currently seeking a Warehouse Value Add Associate to join our growing team in Collegeville, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a stripping machine, dye machine, ink jet machine, performing quality control, and assisting with basic inventory tasks.
If you are looking for a full time, direct-hire position to get your foot in the door and gain hands on experience with an industry leader in wire, cable, and industrial automation, then AWC may be just the right fit for you!
Hours: 5AM - 1:30PM M-F
Pay Rate: $18/hr + full benefits
Location: 101 Kestrel Drive Collegeville, PA 19426

What You'll Do
  • Operate stripping machine, dye machine, and ink jet machine
  • Scan and relocate inventory
  • Perform Quality Control on co-workers' work to ensure correct material, ink, footage, oven temperature, wheel angle, and finished product
  • Assist with additional duties as needed

What You'll Bring
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Warehouse or machine operating experience a plus
  • Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
  • Reliable transportation is required as the site is not accessible by public transit
