Job description

H2O Innovation is a leading company in water and wastewater treatment, specializing in innovative water technologies, services, specialty products, and contract operations.

We are seeking a skilled Jet Truck Operator to join our team in Gulfport, MS. Our next colleague will hold a full-time & permanent position. In this role, the jet truck operator will be responsible for unstopping and clearing blockages that may occur within the city’s sewer system.

The Day-to-Day

  • Unstop sewer blockages as required and clean materials from lines as needed.
  • Dispose of material in an appropriate location.
  • Maintain and operate jet truck in safe and efficient manner while removing sewer blockages.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as recommended by manufacturer.
  • Ensure a safe work zone is set up prior to work beginning.
  • Complete and submit written reports.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.


The Skills We Are Looking For:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • At least 6 months’ related experience.
  • Knowledge of work hazards and safety precautions, including hazards that may exist in sewer environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with the public on a regular basis in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in various outdoor weather conditions.


The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
