Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of critical care and Angio/IR experience for a Level I trauma and certified stroke center.

  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with on-call requirements
  • Team staffing includes Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS in 3-4 person teams
  • Uses IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream equipment
  • Documentation completed in EPIC Cupid
  • No floating required
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Critical Care and Angio/IR, including stroke and trauma care
  • Current ACLS and BLS certification
  • License required if applicable
  • ICU/ER experience required
  • Experience with critical care drip management
  • Proficiency with procedures including Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TAVR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma care
Additional Information
  • Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including Permcath placement, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TAVR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma cases
  • Work within a Level I Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center
  • Care for a high acuity patient population
  • Navy blue and black scrubs required for Techs
  • Located within a dedicated Heart and Vascular Tower featuring 3 Angiography Labs (2 dedicated IR Labs and 1 Hybrid OR)
