Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred but not required.

Position Overview

As a polisher/deburr you will be responsible for removing imperfections, sharp edges and burrs from manufactured parts to achieve a smooth, precise finish using various tools and equipment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Use hand tools and power tools including high speed Dremel tools, polishing wheels, and buffing wheels, to remove burrs, nicks, scratches, and rough edges from manufactured parts.

  • Polish or blend parts to correct defects, prepare surfaces for further finishing, and achieve a specified finish level.

  • Refer any issues regarding Deburr and Manual Operations areas to leads or supervisors
