Physical Therapy Assistant PTA - Rehab 


About the Company: Jefferson Hospital has a well-equipped emergency room, which utilizes hospital staff and contract physicians. Support services are provided for both inpatients and outpatients and
the scope of service is consistent with the current mission of the hospital to provide quality community-based primary health care to Jefferson and surrounding counties.


Job Description: We’re seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Jefferson Hospital. 


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Physical Therapist Assistants assist Physical Therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and 
    procedures. Physical Therapist Assistants assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine 
    functions, document the progress of treatment, and modify specific treatments in accordance with patient 
    status and within the scope of practice established by a physical therapist.


Position Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree or Certification from a Physical Therapy program that included course study 
    in Anatomy and Physiology.
  • Current Certified Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Georgia.
  • BLS
