Job description

A solid, reliable fleet is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic for a job in Exeter PA. The Diesel Mechanic position offers ample overtime, growth opportunities, competitive wages and excellent benefits package.


Compensation

$30.00 – $40.00/hour to start. Benefits include:

Schedule

Day Shift, Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm


Requirements

  • Knowledgeable in diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical/electronics troubleshooting/repair
  • Previous experience repairing Diesel Trucks, Construction Equipment, Skid Steers, Bucket trucks, Aerial Lifts (Genie, JCB, etc.), Booms, Cranes, etc. is greatly appreciated
  • Familiarity with diagnostic systems like JPRO &/or JALTEST
  • Daily duties include diagnostics, inspections, preventative maintenance, oil changes, tune-ups, welding/fabrication, and repair of vehicles both in-shop and in the field
  • Maintain a safe workplace and adhere to all OSHA, DOT and company safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
  • Available to accommodate emergencies
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and blueprints
