Job description

Skyworks LLC is a family-owned and operated construction equipment rental company. Skyworks is a team inspired by a positive culture to build exceptional customer experiences.
The Skyworks Midland branch needs an experienced A Mechanic to work on our equipment at customer job sites.
Duties and responsibilities for Mechanic:
  • maintain the branch's equipment fleet
  • diagnose and fix issues with equipment at a customer's job site
  • inspect diesel engines, equipment hydraulics, and electrical systems to determine needs for repair or replacement of parts
  • conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment testing
  • prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records
  • ability to work well independently with excellent communication skills

Qualifications for Mechanic:
  • electrical and hydraulic experience
  • experience repairing construction equipment- JLG, Takeuchi, Kubota, Genie, JCB preferred
  • certifications of Cummins, Deutz, Kubota engines a plus
  • customer service experience
  • valid driver's license with safe driving history

Pay depends on experience.
