Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Serves as lead technical specialist responsible for analyzing management system, integration and implementation, and complex system deployment in an effort to support enterprise-wide strategy for operations and monitoring in support of the SESIS migration.

2. Develops, configures, deploys and tests complex tools and toolsets, scripts and related systems, and recommends, performs and implements tool enhancement initiatives in an effort to support and improve existing processes. 

 3. Analyzes and provides recommendations for the tailoring and use of operational process models that are based on accepted industry standards, e.g. ITIL and TMF.

4. Interacts with an Engineering Team to provide and develop technology planning, standards and design for the Network Management Group responsible for the overall network architecture, technology deployment and support processes for network management technologies in the Network Operation Center.

Certification Requirements:

ExtJS / Sencha Ceritifification

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, and 8+ years of satisfactory full-time (not classroom based) experience in wide area network planning, design, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, integration, performance monitoring, maintenance, enhancement, and security management

Experience and Skillsets:

Have actively utilized an MVC JavaScript framework like ExtJS, or Sencha Touch (preferred) in one or more projects. 

Knowledgeable of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX, SQL, and open-source server-side frameworks.

Expertise with PERL, PHP, and JAVAScript programming. (8+ years) 

Experience and expertise in UNIX, LINUX scripting. (8+ years)

Hands on experience with VMWare. (1 - 3 years)

Strong understanding of SQL syntax and experience writing database queries. (8+ years)

Basic programming experience writing PowerShell, C+, or command line scripts to automate repetitive

Networking protocols and standards:

EIGRP, BGP, RIP V2, HTTP, SSH, SSH2, SCP, SFTP, FTP, APACHE
