What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a JavaScript Engineer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a JavaScript Engineer, you need strong proficiency in JavaScript, a good understanding of web development fundamentals, and typically a degree in computer science or related experience. Familiarity with frameworks like React or Angular, version control systems like Git, and tools such as Node.js and npm is essential.
