The Enterprise Global Services Supply Chain Intern position offers a comprehensive 10-12 week summer internship experience within the Supply Chain - Enterprise Global Services organization. This role provides strategic exposure across multiple functional areas including Strategic Sourcing (60%), Vendor Management Office (15%), Governance (15%), and Shared Services (10%). The position is structured as a Remote/Hybrid opportunity, allowing flexibility while maintaining collaborative engagement with cross-functional teams and leadership.
This internship provides hands-on support to the Strategic Sourcing team with comprehensive exposure to supplier management, governance, and procurement operations across a global indirect services portfolio. The intern will work directly with Category Managers and leadership on sourcing initiatives, spend analysis, supplier research, and strategic projects. The role delivers practical exposure to how a global supply chain organization manages enterprise services, technology solutions, professional services engagements, and strategic supplier relationships. This position bridges analytical rigor with strategic business impact, offering visibility into end-to-end procurement and supplier management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing Support
• Conduct spend analysis across supplier categories
• Perform category research and market assessments
• Support supplier market evaluations
• Contribute to RFx development and bid evaluation processes
• Assist with supplier consolidation initiatives
• Develop sourcing presentations for stakeholders
• Support category strategy development
Analytics and Reporting
• Analyze supplier and spend data to identify trends and opportunities
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools for stakeholder visibility
• Track savings and cost avoidance metrics
• Prepare contract and renewal reporting
• Create executive presentations with data-driven insights
• Validate supplier and contract information for accuracy
Strategic Projects
• Support cost savings and avoidance initiatives across categories
• Assist with supplier rationalization efforts
• Contribute to technology and software optimization projects
• Support professional services sourcing activities
• Participate in governance improvement initiatives
• Contribute to supplier performance management processes
Cross-Functional Exposure
• Strategic Sourcing activities including category strategies and negotiation support
• Vendor Management Office responsibilities for supplier relationships and performance monitoring
• Enterprise Service Governance for licenses, entitlements, and renewals management
• Shared Services and Center of Excellence engagement for standardized processes, reporting excellence, and operational optimization
Education
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, information systems, data analytics, or related field
Required: Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights
Preferred: Technical
Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools; Familiarity with JDE; Knowledge of PowerPoint for executive presentations

The hourly range for this role is $20/hr to $23/hr. We may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
