We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Analyst/Developer to join our team and support smarter, data-driven decisions across the organization.
Position Summary
As a Business Analyst at Cherokee Brick Company, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business operations and technology. Focusing on optimizing processes, reporting, and systems to enhance decision-making. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, technical fluency, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights and tools.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Analyst/Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams-including operations, sales, finance, and IT-to understand business needs, identify process improvements, and translate requirements into effective technical solutions. This role involves analyzing data, designing reports and dashboards using SQL (preferably in a DB2 environment), and supporting system integrations using JavaScript or JSON. The analyst will also be responsible for documenting workflows, facilitating clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy, and providing training and support for users across the organization.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and people
    skills; able to collaborate across departments and levels.
  • Excellent communication
    skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in SQL; experience with IBM DB2 is strongly preferred.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript and/or working with JSON data.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, reporting, and business process flows.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing or logistics environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
