Job description

Location:
4910 Tiedeman Road, Brooklyn Ohio
Design, develop, test, and support Java and Spring Boot-based applications, APIs, and microservices that deliver core banking services across the enterprise. Collaborate with internal technology teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to implement and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. Participate in production support activities, incident resolution, system enhancements, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure optimal platform performance and customer experience.
Essential Functions
  • Independently develops clean, maintainable, testable code for work assigned; performs peer code reviews.
  • Participates in the overall health, performance, and availability and actively works resolution of system and client experience impacts for one or more environments, applications, or platforms.
  • Embraces mentorship and training from senior engineers.
  • Provides continuous improvement ideas to reduce expenses and/or improve efficiency.
  • Applies recommended information security standards when developing code and seeks to validate.
  • Assesses the technical viability of new and emerging products and technologies.
  • Contributes to technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts for developing code.
  • Identifies potential standards and best practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
  • Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.

  • Experience working within Agile development teams utilizing Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience using Jira for sprint planning, backlog management, and team collaboration.
  • Exposure to Microsoft .NET technologies and enterprise application integrations.
  • Experience supporting or integrating SOAP-based web services.
  • Exposure to enterprise mainframe technologies including z/OS, CICS, and COBOL.
  • Experience working within financial services, banking, or other highly regulated environments.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
