Job description

Senior Application Developer (Java) - Hybrid
AEBS is helping a client find a Senior Application Developer with strong Java experience for a role combining enterprise application development, modernization, and production support. This is a hybrid, contract-to-hire role in Milwaukee that requires 3 days onsite per week.

The right person will be comfortable developing with Java/Spring Boot, supporting REST APIs and integrations, troubleshooting production issues, and improving legacy applications. Experience with Hibernate/JPA, IBM MQ, SQL, JUnit, Git, and enterprise application support is important.
Preferred experience includes cloud platforms, Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD, secure coding, Angular, and application modernization.
