Job Description

Position Summary
Primarily responsible for designing and delivering reusable service interfaces on projects. Collaborates within the outside the team to maintain and evolve the bank service models. Acts as a point of contact for web service delivery, with the ability to identify service and process candidates, and clearly document and communicate design recommendations across projects at an enterprise level. Supports projects of all types including Agile methods.
Required Skills

  • Experience with designing and developing web services in a model-driven approach
  • Understanding with experience in technology integration and enterprise service APIs (SOAP, REST)
  • Strong experience in Object-oriented and resource based design
  • Ability to write clear end-user documentation including Design documentation, Service descriptions, Use Cases, and Data definitions
  • Effectively communicate, collaborate, and lead delivery in a cross-team environment
  • Strong understanding of Banking products and depth in financial industry business acumen

Desired Skills

  • Hands-on tools and API experience: Source control (SVN, Perforce), Eclipse/EMF, UML, XML parsing, XSD, JSON, SOAP, REST, Data mapping
  • Exposure to service governance policies, service portfolio and release management
