Location: 525 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07310
Duties:Design and develop new pieces of software or to enhance existing software to provide a new functionality List. Analyze, design, and develop software applications using Java, Spring framework Technologies in multiplatform environment. Map project requirements to the spring boot microservice-based architecture and create technical design documents. Full software development lifecycle; inclusive of design, programming, integration testing, UAT and deployment. Manage the release process by raising appropriate requests and coordinating w/ CM and APS Teams. Deliver prioritized projects within agreed timeframe and budget. Identify and address the fix for production issues within a minimum time. Participate in Development and Integration of FX proprietary system. *Telecommuting permitted 50%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas office in Jersey City, NJ.
SALARY :$189,592 - $200,000/ year
Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday Friday)
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and eight (8) years of experience in Software Engineering or Development OR Master's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and six (6) years of experience in Software Engineering or Development. Must have eight (8) years of experience (or 6 with Master's) with: Working with Oracle database environment; proficiency in Java platforms and related technologies, such as Spring Framework, Concurrency, Multithreading, JDBC, and Functional programming using Lambda; Expertise in version control system, such as Git; Experience in Build tools and plugins, such as Maven, Gradle, and Ant. Must have six (6) years of experience with: Cloud Application design involving Spring Cloud Framework. Experience with Application Server, such as IBM WebSphere, Web Server, Apache Tomcat, and IIS; Microservices Container Architecture, such as Spring Boot and J2EE tool suits. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Real-time messaging technologies (ex MQ-Kafka...);overall web architecture design, optimization and improvement; Knowledge and experience of UI technologies, HTML5, Java Script, Angular and CSS; Knowledge and Experience of Swagger Open API Documentation and Rest API.; Knowledge and Experience of CI/CD with Jenkins or equivalent. e.g. Bamboo; Experience in Banking industry.
