Job description

CTG is seeking to fill a Full Stack Java Developer - React position for our client.
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
  • Design, develop, test, and implement high-performing, scalable software applications using Java and ReactJS.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using React UI technologies.
  • Serve as a technical consultant for application architecture, development, performance, and scalability.
  • Identify application performance bottlenecks and recommend and implement improvements.
  • Integrate and support CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates to ensure code quality, test coverage, and deployment reliability.
  • Implement application logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
  • Develop automated runbooks and self-healing capabilities to improve application reliability and reduce operational support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including collaborating with application and support teams during critical incidents.
  • Apply software engineering principles to IT operations to develop highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills:
  • Strong Java development skills.
  • Strong ReactJS and React UI development experience.
  • Knowledge of full-stack application development and modern software engineering practices.
  • Experience with application performance optimization and scalability.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and quality gates.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
