Job description

Role Overview:
This role is for a Quality Assurance/Test professional, specifically a Manual Tester, with a focus on supporting Java-based enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of software systems through comprehensive testing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute test plans and test cases for functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate pricing data behavior, including exceptions, tolerance checks, and downstream impacts to valuation.
  • Support defect triage with clear data-backed analysis.
  • Partner with development and product teams to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency with productivity/development tools to accelerate testing, analysis, documentation, or defect management.
  • Strong SQA (Software Quality Assurance) experience, particularly in supporting Java-based enterprise applications.
  • SQL skills for effective data validation and root-cause analysis.
Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and project management.
