Job description

So, what's the role all about?

As a Software Engineer on the User Hub team, you'll help build and enhance one of the most critical areas of the NiCE CXone platform-the experience customers rely on to manage employees, teams, tenant configurations, profiles, branding, and organizational hierarchies.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll spend your time developing new features, modernizing existing capabilities, solving complex technical challenges, and supporting a platform used by some of the world's largest organizations.

You'll work across the stack, leveraging Java, Angular, AWS, and cloud-native technologies to deliver scalable solutions that directly impact customers every day. You'll join a collaborative, high-performing team that values ownership, initiative, and a willingness to tackle whatever challenge comes next.

If you're someone who enjoys solving real-world problems, working at enterprise scale, and continuously growing your skills, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

How will you make an impact?

  • Design, develop, and enhance features within the User Hub platform.
  • Build intuitive user experiences using Angular and modern web technologies.
  • Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java.
  • Leverage AWS services and cloud-native architectures to deliver highly available solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues through log analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation.
  • Partner closely with Product, Architecture, QA, and global engineering teams to deliver business value.
  • Drive software quality through testing, automation, and a quality-first mindset.
  • Utilize AI-powered development tools to improve productivity while maintaining high engineering standards.
  • Contribute ideas that improve customer experiences, team processes, and platform capabilities.
  • Balance feature development with operational excellence to ensure a reliable experience for customers.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience developing applications with Java.
  • Experience building modern web applications using Angular.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Understanding of software design principles, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch, or DynamoDB.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized development environments.
  • Experience investigating production issues and working within complex enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with Python and serverless architectures.
  • Experience working with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.

What Will Make You Successful?

The engineers who thrive on this team are:

  • Self-starters who take ownership and drive work forward.
  • Fast learners who can quickly adapt to new technologies and domains.
  • Naturally curious problem-solvers who enjoy digging into complex issues.
  • Team players who are willing to jump in and help wherever priorities demand.
  • Comfortable context-switching between feature development and critical investigations.
  • Focused on delivering outcomes, not just completing tasks.
  • Passionate about continuous learning and professional growth.

Why NiCE?

At NiCE, you'll have the opportunity to work on software that operates at enterprise scale while building skills that accelerate your career.
