Job description

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
  • Support Angular-based front-end integrations as needed.
  • Design and execute performance tests including load, stress, soak, spike, and capacity testing using Apache JMeter.
  • Analyze application performance using Dynatrace or similar APM tools to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
  • Optimize JVM, garbage collection, database queries, caching, threading, and messaging systems.
  • Design and support event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
  • Build scalable and resilient distributed systems and microservices.
  • Integrate automated performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global Agile teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 6–8 years of full-stack development experience with strong Java backend expertise.
  • Strong experience with Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices, distributed systems, and Apache Kafka.
  • Expertise in performance engineering, system tuning, and optimization.
  • Experience with Apache JMeter and Dynatrace/APM tools.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.
