Job Summary:
HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self-motivated Solutions Architect to join their team in Chicago. The role involves serving as a strategic advisor to clients on enterprise application modernization, leading client engagements, and driving transformation initiatives across various technology platforms.
Responsibilities:
• To assess the domain IT landscape assessment and Application portfolio optimization for gap analysis
• Creation of solution and architectural views (logical| conceptual| development| execution| infrastructure & operations architecture)
• To study and define system requirements addressing stakeholder| portfolio concerns
• To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new and emerging products/technologies
• To manage Non-Functional Requirement adaption for the solution
• To contribute towards white/technical papers and knowledge base
Qualifications:
Required:
• Solutions Architect coming from Airline Industry or Transportation Industry
• Solutions Architect who is hands on with Java or .NET
• Solutions Architect who is hands on with Cloud AWS
• Solutions Architect who has experience in Presales (Finding potential opportunities where HCL Tech can expand its footprint)
• Solutions Architect who has experience building relationships with stakeholders, managing expectations, & Providing solutions.
• bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in data architecture, consulting, enterprise transformation, or data platform strategy roles
• Strong experience shaping modernization strategies, enterprise data roadmaps, and transformation programs across Modern Data Platforms (Databricks/Snowflake/MS Fabric/Cloud Native) in complex client environments
• Proven consulting and leadership experience in stakeholder management, executive communication, solution advisory, and large-scale program governance
• Demonstrated ability to connect data strategy and modernization initiatives to measurable business outcomes such as growth, efficiency, customer experience, risk reduction, and decision velocity
• Excellent executive presence, client relationship management, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills
• Hands-on expertise in Java, .Net, AWS cloud, iOS, Testing aspects
Preferred:
• Master’s degree or advanced certification in business, technology, data, cloud, or transformation leadership disciplines
• Experience leading C-level or senior stakeholder discussions for enterprise data modernization, platform transformation, and value realization programs
• Background in industry consulting, advisory-led transformation, or managing
