Job Description :


Relevant Experience (Yrs) :


Have 3+ years of experience on SOLR search engine platform & overall should have 6+yrs of IT experience 

Experience of Retail domain will be an added advantage 


Technical/Functional Skills : 


Experience of development and supporting applications on SOLR Technology Platform and Engine configuration 

Experience in configuring and maintaining SOLR 

Experience in Java & PERL programming 

Experience in Integrating SOLR Search with eCommerce Platforms like IBM WCS/ Java based applications 

Implementation and Support Experience

Experience with Endeca will be added advantage 

Good knowledge of Ecommerce Technology and Architecture 

Have basic understanding of UML, XML, Web Services 


Roles & Responsibilities :


  Configuring and Supporting the SOLR Platform implementation, Support Business users in fine tuning the existing implementation and maintaining rules. 

  Incorporate enhancements for new features. 

  Analysis of new requirements (business requirements), business impacts, work prioritization and estimation. 

  Prepare Low level and High Level design document or technical specifications. 

  Code and test(Unit and System Test) application components 


Generic Managerial Skills :


  Ability to take business requirements and develop functional design and help in technical design. 

  Ability to work with remote teams 

  Ability to manage project scope. 

  Ability to ensure quality of the delivered components. 

  Onshore / Offshore team management, capacity planning. 

  Offshore co-ordination for construction and testing of defects/BRs, review and code delivery
