Job description

Role Summary
This position is a mid-level Site Reliability Engineer responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and efficiency of digital services and cloud infrastructure. The role involves developing and testing deployment processes, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting complex technical issues across multiple environments. Collaboration within an Agile/Scrum framework is essential to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy release applications and services utilizing CircleCI and GitLab CI pipelines.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and deployment reliability.
  • Develop and enhance monitoring systems for digital products and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability.
  • Understand and map data flows, including integration and conversion processes, across complex application environments.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed for applications, servers, and infrastructure components.
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve escalated issues across a wide range of digital services and cloud environments.
  • Monitor, detect, and troubleshoot issues during code deployments, providing timely updates to leadership.
  • Work within tiered cloud environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod) to ensure stable deployments and performance.
  • Collaborate using Scrum and Agile methodologies, organizing tasks and sprints effectively with moderate supervision.
  • Leverage technical knowledge of software integration, micro-services, and infrastructure principles to support operational reliability.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Java, Python, Linux, scripting, and automation tools.
  • Experience with cloud compute platforms, Kubernetes deployment, Terraform infrastructure strategies, and network monitoring.
  • Familiarity with data processing, analytics, and telemetry, including REST API, SNMP, and syslog protocols.
  • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile project management methodologies, with experience in job scheduling systems.
  • Hands-on experience with software integration systems such as MuleSoft and SSIS.
  • Understanding of technical infrastructure, including Windows Server, UNIX, Tomcat, IIS, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with system architecture, automation pipelines, and CI/CD practices.

Publishing Pay Range: $70.00 to $75.94 hourly
