Full Stack Developer (Golang/Java), #1022

Dev Technology is on the lookout for a passionate Software Developer to join our dynamic team! You'll be at the forefront of developing, deploying, and maintaining mission-critical applications that drive government initiatives forward.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in transforming requirements into innovative solutions, using cutting-edge methodologies like Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Kanban, and DevSecOps. You'll collaborate closely with users to define system scope and objectives and contribute to key design decisions that shape the future of our mission-critical systems.

What You'll Be Doing: 

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain mission-critical applications using Java, C#, C++, and Golang.
  • Provide expert support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases, transforming requirements into innovative solutions. Collaborate with users to define system scope and objectives and contribute to key design decisions.
  • Lead new development and re-engineering efforts, making crucial system design decisions and implementing enhancements to existing systems. Coordinate with other developers and perform QA/testing as needed.
  • Deliver comprehensive software development services across all tiers, including UI, Java, and Oracle. Utilize DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Maven.
  • Develop and maintain Java Web Services using Spring Boot and Java EE. Engage in web development with UI frameworks, HTML, and JavaScript. Work with relational databases (RDBMS) and JSON.
  • Perform database programming using SQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL DB, and MySQL.
  • Apply test-driven development practices and manage Cloud and AWS administration tasks.
  • Support the setup of AWS infrastructure and leverage experience with RedHat/OpenShift version 4.x.
  • Utilize DevOps and Agile methodologies, including Scrum, to drive the software development lifecycle.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:  

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5+ years of development experience
  • Experience with Java programming language
  • Experience with Golang
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Maven 
  • Java Web Services/Spring Boot/Java EE
  • Web Development/UI Frameworks/ HTML/JavaScript 
  • Relational Database experience (RDBMS)
  • Oracle DB/PostgreSQL DB/MySQL
  • Experience in Docker, AWS Admin, RedHat/OpenShift v4.x 
  • Experience in Agile development methodology 

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Experience with C++ 
  • Experience implementing and configuring DevOps solutions
  • Experience in Struts and RESTful services
  • Experience in Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, and SQL*Plus
  • Experience in UNIX/LINUX shell scripting.
  • Certification in SAFe, SCRUM, or Kanban 

Our estimated salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on education, experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
